Name Change

So, Mrs Newton-Williams clearly subscribes to the “website-name-should-match-the-url” camp. That broadly means that Big Hungry Giant should really be called Newton-Williams.com. While it’s accurate, I’m not sure it’s quite as much fun.

Now, if it’s only us using the website then it doesn’t really matter, but if there’s anybody out there reading this who prefers BHG to Newton-Williams.com then now is a great time to come out from wherever you are hiding and let me know about it!

Comment away!

BHG is a /very/ cool moniker; but I’m getting where the other non-big, non-hungry, non-giants are coming from…

Can BHGness somehow be wrapped into the family web site? Even if it’s just ‘Posted by’?

Is there enough content for a Newton-Williams family type blog, and a BHG Gareth-centric blog?

Could this be the perfect excuse to purchase bighungrygiant.com? ;-)

I actually share his opinion. However, domain registration is so darn cheap these days, I offer a solution that I used for the last show I produced. Register the 2nd domain name. You can always link one with the other. For example, after the run of our show was over, if you visited the site you were immediately redirected to the writer’s official home page

    What great ideas!

    I’m glad I asked. Now, is BigHungryGiant.com available? I suppose that’s the next question…

That it is. As a .com a .net and a .org
Go to godaddy dot com and they’ll take care of the rest.

Ps when I typed “his” in my last comment, I meant “her” (agreeing with Nicole). That’s what I get for using the iPhone
