Raoul Moat
It seems a shame that this man is destined for fame. At the very least infamy, depending on how the inquiries turn out. I suppose victims don’t have any appeal. Not unless they’re already celebrities that is. In which case we’re fascinated by the victim and the criminal or malcontent remains relatively faceless.
The quiet bravery of man determined to return to active service in the police force. The story of an individual of no particular notoriety quietly pressing on despite life’s challenges surely ought to carry the wider appeal.
There’sa good many people who would, I imagine, be interested in how he has managed to bear no malice towards the late Mr Moat. I suspect there exists a substantial group of persons who are convinced he is lying and is just as bitter and hate-filled as they would expect themselves to be. Rescuing these persons from their impositions would be a useful exercise.
So why not interview the brave cop? I’d like to hear more from him.
