All on my own

As of last week my wife now has a blog of her own, you can find it here. Kudos to you if you are familiar with the quote from Bonaparte which inspired her choice of title! Those of you more concerned with all things fashion, art and theatre with a good dose of ultra-local news from Greenwich should mosey on over and take a look. Whether or not you come back, well, that’s up to you.

Of course here at Newton-Williams.com this is now my blog. So it’s more of a Gareth Newton-Williams.com. I’m not entirely sure of the reasons but it feels liberating. As though there’s more space for me to express myself. Don’t think too deeply about that, it’s more ridiculous than it sounds.

On the news front I attended an interview yesterday. The subject of the interview is unimportant, what has kept me thinking ever since is about how dificult it is to evaluate other people. Our perceptions of others are very subjective and we as human beings tend to put too much emphasis on the subjective at the expense of the, already rare, empirical evidence. I think I may have to think about this some other time.
